It is certain that Dan Fitzgibbons is most highly regarded for his current line of work, in which he sells and services computer storage systems as the Data Protection Business Manager for EMC Corporation, in their Minneapolis office. EMC is a 37-year-old company that plays a very important role as an international tech company with tends of billions of dollars in revenue every year. As good as he is at his job, however, people should know that there is far more to Dan Fitzgibbons than his job prowess. As a matter of fact, Dan considers his family and his Twin Cities community to be at least as important as his job, and he is determined to make them the best they can be.
It is the case that Dan Fitzgibbons has always felt that strongly about family and community, even when he was a young man growing up in Fargo, North Dakota. There, he was very busy as the youngest of five kids. He attended Holy Spirit Grade School through the eighth grade and then he attended Shanley High, where he was a member of a singing group called the Sandpebbles and part of the drama department as a member of the key club. In addition, he also played football and golf, as well as intramural hockey. He is obviously not someone who can sit still and do nothing very well.
Dan Fitzgibbons is now married with two beautiful children and he has called the Greater Minneapolis Area home for quite some time now. And because he believes that family and community are the most important things in life, he works as much as he can to make sure they are both the best they can be. That is why he works with several Twin Cities charities that help make it a better place to live. He is very active with Dress for Success Twin Cities, for example, because they work to empower women and thus increase their economic independence by making sure they have proper clothes for jobs and job interviews.
